IF IT IS SO PLAIN, WHY DO WE NEED TEACHERS?
Malachi 2:7
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge,
and they should seek the law at his mouth:
for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
Haggai 2:11
Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law...
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Ecc 12:9 — Ecc 12:10
And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs. The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.
Mat 13:51 — Mat 13:52
Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord. Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
2Pe 3:15 — 2Pe 3:16
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
SEE THE TEXT BELOW. HERE WE SEE PAUL INTERPRETING WORDS TO THEIR ROOT MEANINGS AND MAKE INFERENCES FROM PORTIONS OF SCRIPTURES
Heb 7:2 — Heb 7:3
To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
Gal 4:21 — Gal 4:28
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
DID CHRIST NOT SPEAK IN PARABLES? AND THEN EXPLAIN THEM?
IF WHAT YOU SAY IS TRUE, AND YOU HAVE FACTS TO FURTHER PROVE, WHY NOT?
WHY SHOULD TRUTH GO AGAINST VERIFIABLE FACTS AND GOOD LOGIC?
GOD HAS GIVEN US SOUND MINDS, WHY SHOULD WE NOT APPLY IT TO THE UNDERSTANDING OF SCRIPTURES?
YOU KNOW IT BUT YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN IT? THEN YOU CAN'T TEACH IT YET. EXCUSE US.
TEACHER, DON'T TEACH ME NONSENSE.
