WHICH MEAT DID CHRIST GIVE? THE MEAT THAT DOES NOT PERISH; ENDURING UNTO EVERLASTING LIFE.

WHEN WAS THIS MEAT DONE? ON THE CROSS; IN HIS FINISHED WORK.

John 4:34

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 19:30

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

HOW DOES ANYONE EAT THIS MEAT? BY BELIEVING IN CHRIST AND HIS FINISHED WORK.

John 6: 54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

THE MEAT IS DONE. THE WORK IS FINISHED.

SO WHY SHOULD A BELIEVER WORK FOR GRACE INSTEAD OF SIMPLY RECEIVING GRACE FOR GRACE?

SINCE FAITH DELIVERS POWER TO BECOME SONS OF GOD, WHY WILL WORKS SUSTAIN OUR SONSHIP?

BEING SAVED = BELIEVE IN CHRIST = REPENTANCE

REPENTANCE MEANS 'CHANGE YOUR MIND',

THE REPENTANCE THAT SAVES MEANS 'CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT CHRIST'.
