WHO IS BLESSED ? WHO IS CURSED ?

Gal 3:

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

ONE VERSE AT A TIME.

IF YOU ARE UNDER THE LAW, YOU ARE CURSED BY DEFAULT.

BECAUSE 'CURSED IS EVERY WHO CONTINUETH NOT IN ALL THAT IS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THE LAW'

LET ME TAKE YOU BACK TO WHERE PAUL GOT THIS FROM

Deut 28:14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

YOU MUST NOT GO ASIDE TO THE RIGHT OR TO THE LEFT WHEN KEEPING THE LAW... YOU MUST OBSERVE TO DO ALL... ELSE THE CURSES ARE AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLED. WHO COULD ESCAPE SUCH CURSE?

SO WHEN YOU SUBJECT YOURSELF TO THE WORKS OF THE LAW, THE CURSE RUNS BY DEFAULT BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DO IT ALL.

IT BECAME EVIDENT THAT WHOEVER ESCAPED THE CURSES WAS NOT BECAUSE OF THE LAW (FOR NO

ONE COULD KEEP IT ALL). AND WE HAVE THAT WITNESS IN EVEN THE OLD TESTAMENT THAT THE JUST (WHOEVER WAS JUDGED AS FREE FROM THE CURSE) DID IT BY FAITH- NOT BY (KEEPING) THE WORKS OF THE LAW.

12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? THE LAW IS NOT OF FAITH. SO WHAT IS THE LAW OF? WORKS. THE LAW IS OF WORKS FOR 'The man that doeth them shall live in them.'

SO WHILE THE JUST LIVES BY FAITH, THE LEGALIST (THE CURSED) LIVES BY WORKS.

WHAT DID CHRIST DO? HE BECAME A CURSE FOR US BY HANGING ON THE CROSS.

WHO IS THE EVERYONE THAT WAS CURSED ?

ALL THAT WAS UNDER THE LAW, INCLUDING US HAD CHRIST NOT COME.

WHO IS THE EVERYONE THAT IS CURSED HERE ?

ONLY ONE. HE THAT HANGETH ON A TREE; CHRIST!

HE BECAME CURSE FOR US. HOW?

every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them = CURSE = every one that hangeth on a tree:

WE WERE THE ONE THAT COULD NEVER KEEP THE LAW AND WERE CURSED BY DEFAULT.

HE WAS THE ONE THAT HANGED ON THE TREE, AND BY SO DOING BECAME CURSED BY DEFAULT.

THAT WAS HOW HE SETTLED THE DEMANDS OF THE LAW.

HE DID NOT FULFIL THE LAW BY KEEPING THE LAW. REMEMBER HE BROKE MANY SABBATH LAWS. HE FULFILLED (SETTLED THE DEMANDS OF THE LAW) BY ACCEPTING ALL THE BLAME AND THE CURSES FOR MAN NOT BEING ABLE TO KEEP THE LAW. THAT IS WHY THAT SCRIPTURE SAID HE HAS REDEEMED (EXEMPTED/EXCUSED) US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW. HE TOOK THE PURNISHMENT FOR OUR DEFAULTING ON THE LAW.

GOT IT?

14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

HAD CHRIST NOT DIED, YOU KNOW THAT OUR CHANCE OF EVER GETTING THE BLESSINGS OF GOD HANGED ON OUR KEEPING ALL THE LAW.

BUT NOW, WE REVERTED BACK TO THE ORDER OF ABRAHAM, WHO BEFORE THE LAW CAME GOT THE BLESSINGS OF GOD BY FAITH.

SO WE RECEIVE THE PROMISE OF THE (HOLY) SPIRIT; (GOD'S BEST BLESSING AFTER CHRIST FINISHED HIS WORK OF OUR SALVATION). WE GOT THE PROMISED SPIRIT BY FAITH.

WHICH BLESSING IN GOD IS LEFT OUTSIDE THE HOLY SPIRIT? NONE.

WE WHO ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH, NOT WORKS - ARE THE BLESSED OF GOD.

THOSE WHO LIVE BY THEIR WORKS - ARE THE C...
