WHO IS AFRAID OF WORK ? (AND WHAT WE ARE AFRAID OF)

WHO IS AFRAID OF WORK ?
(AND WHAT WE ARE AFRAID OF)

MAN WAS CREATED FOR WORK

WE WERE SAVED FOR WORKS

Eph 2:10

God has made us what we are [L For we are his handiwork/workmanship/work of art]. In Christ Jesus, God ·made [created] us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.

Ephesians 4:12
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and LABOUR OF LOVE, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;'

James 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD?

WE ARE AFRAID OF TOILING.
(OR 'DEAD WORKS' (HEB 6:1)

IN ADAM IS THE TOIL, IN CHRIST IS THE WORK

Acts 3:
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Eph 2:
10 For we are his workmanship, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

EVERYONE OUTSIDE CHRIST TOILS. ONLY IN SALVATION IS THE WORK.

IN THE LAW IS THE TOIL, IN FAITH IS THE WORK

Romans 9:31-32 (KJV)

31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.

32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 3:2
This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your WORK OF FAITH, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;'

IN FLESH IS THE TOIL, IN LOVE THE WORK

Gal 5:
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 Corinthians 13 (KJV)

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

WE ARE AFRAID OF WORK OUTSIDE GRACE

1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Galatians 2:21
I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

GET OUT OUT ADAM, INTO CHRIST.
GET OUT OF THE LAW, INTO FAITH.
GET OUT OF THE FLESH, INTO THE SPIRIT
STAY IN GRACE

GET OUT OF DEAD WORKS.
RECEIVE THE GRACE IN CHRIST JESUS.
WORK OUT ALL HE WORKS IN YOU.

Amen.
